Typically, he is with me on all Wednesdays           overnight, alternate weekends from Friday afternoon to Monday morning, as well as           most Yomim Tovim and school vacation periods.

Occupation:      Currently, I am employed as a Computer Programmer writing software involving algorithmic trading. I worked on other financial software projects as well.      I was previously employed as a Lecturer of Computer Science at Queens College.      I also worked as a research assistant at the CUNY Graduate Center. My research focused on the Torah codes project. During College, I worked at the Yeshiva University library. Community Affiliations:      Young Israel of New Hyde Park:           Financial Secretary - I have been managing the synagogue's finances for over 5 years           Web Developer - I developed and maintain the synagogue's online Shalach Manos system Utopia Jewish Center - Member. I currently live near and attend davening at Utopia Jewish Center, but I continue to maintain my membership and volunteer positions at my former shul, the Young Israel of New Hyde Park.

Hashkafas:
Modern Orthodox. I take Halacha seriously, but also have some secular interests.I attend a Daf Yomi shiur as well as daily minyan. I put a strong emphasis on proper observance of Mitzvos Bein Adam L'Chaveiro as well as Mitzvos Bein Adam L'Makom. I place a special emphasis on being a good person, and I try to help others whenever I can. I also place a strong emphasis on spending time with my family, and would like a woman who also feels the importance of spending quality time together as a family.

Interests:
I enjoy spending time with children, particularly my son. During my college years, I was youth leader at the Pirchei in Hillcrest. I also enjoy travel, cooking, baking, computers, history and classical music (I play the violin).

Goals:
In a family, I hope to build a loving home with mutual respect and understanding. I would like to be an active contributor to all aspects of running the household. I would like to share in as much of the housework as possible (as noted above, I love to cook). I also expect to work full time, and regularly go to learn. Most importantly, I would like to be an active and loving father involved with all aspects of raising the children in the household, including my son and any children from a prospective wife's previous marriage. There are few things that I value more than quality time with my son.

Who I am looking for:
While I am quite flexible about what I look for in a potential match, generally speaking, I am looking for a kind person who will make a good wife and be good to Ari. Ideally she should work full time, the nature of her job and salary do not matter. She should be willing to stand behind me and provide me with emotional support in all times, for good and for bad. As for Hashkafas, a good test of where she stands is that she should say Hallel on Yom Ha'atzmaut. Needless to say, anything that I expect from a wife, I would strive to provide as a husband.
